Maryland Indian Community Events
The Maryland Indian community is a vibrant one and organizes Indian festival celebrations and cultural programs from time to time.
Musical nights, temple functions, festival celebrations and a host of cultural programs are organized week after week by various community groups or Maryland Hindu temples.
Sri Siva Vishnu Temple and Murugan Temple in Lanham and Kali Temple in Burtonsville celebrate all major Hindu festivals like Rama Navami, Ugadi, Ganesh Chaturthi, Durga Puja, Navratri Dasara, Onam, Diwali, Annakoot and more.
Local Indian community associations and public libraries in Baltimore, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Frederick, Silverspring, Columbia, Annapolis etc. also host SAT/ACT Prep classes, STEM & Math tutoring, Yoga sessions, Coding & Robotics classes, immigration & naturalization services like preparing for citizenship exam, interview and filling up the forms for the benefit of students, teens, youth, immigrants and adults.
