Indian Associations in Maryland
Indians in Maryland whether it is Tamils, Telugus, Bengalis, Malayalees, Gujaratis or Kannadigas have all formed their own association.
Maryland Indian associations are active and often organize events to celebrate prominent Indian festivals and events like Ugadi, Ganesh Chaturthi, Durga Puja, Dasara, Diwali, Sankranti and Vishu Indian Independence Day, Republic Day that bond the community.
Most of these events include cultural programs like Music concerts, Bollywood dance and as well as food counters serving Mysore Masala Dosa, Idly, Tandoori Chicken, Dokhla, Samosa, Dum Biryani etc.
